JACK/DANIEL BABY-A-THON (no infants allowed)

Brought to you by [livejournal.com profile] jd_junkie and [livejournal.com profile] sidlj.

It’s time for some commentficcing to offset any post-holiday blues! We'll be running this through Monday, January 19th. There's a supplemental post here for questions and general squeeing.

This is more-or-less how it will work:

You (yes, you, specifically) will write a commentfic or a drabble and post it here as a new comment to the original post. Put a title in the header, if you have one, and maybe a rating or warnings if you think necessary. Crack, porn, romance, sad, silly, dark – however the muse moves you.

THE ONE-AND-ONLY PROMPT: Jack calls Daniel “baby”, or vice-versa. Or both. Because some of us melt and squee and flail when we find that in a fic. And we are not ashamed! We embrace our “baby” kink. We celebrate it.

Let’s wallow, baby!

I did see that! I think I cried, too. :p

Personally, I'm more of a fan of Spongebob/Patrick, but a crossover with SG-1 seems rather problematic. So many bunnies, so little time.

:D

Here - let me solve that for you. During the events of "Watergate" where the Russians have a submarine stuck halfway through a gate, in the water on the other side we have...Patrick and SpongeBob. Re-write so that ALL of SG-1 is in the sub along with Counsellor Troi the Russian scientist. SpongeBob and Patrick see the dilemma the team is in and bring their friend, Sandy the Squirrel with extra helmets. Sandy guides the team to her airy homestead complete with tree. The team rests up there while SpongeBob, Mr, Krab, Sam and Troi work on a solution.

There. When will the story be ready, eh? :D

Hahaha! You're good. And I don't even have to write it now. :p

And you're absolutely right, your brain is a scary place. No wonder we get along so well!

Exactly! Great minds think alike or it takes one to know one or something. :D

But where's Squidward?

Squidward is outside Sandy's bubble. For weeks now, he has been planning a quiet day in the country where SpongeBob and Patrick can't pester him. He has brought a picnic lunch, a novel, binoculars and a Field Guide To Jelly Fish. Unfortunately, his out of the way picnic place turns out to be the area around the underwater stargate where the sub is stuck. Everytime SpongeBob and Patrick try something to get the sub loose, the plan backfires all over Squidward. :)

Daniel, not only impressed with Squidward's determination to further his education, but also understanding the need to have some peace and quiet away from his friends, introduces Squidward to the tales of the Little Mermaid. Much to Daniel's consternation, Squidward immediately gives up his studies, and is soon spending all of his time writing fan fiction, secretly slashing his best friends, to the delight of many. :)
