Jack was trying so hard to be strong, for Bjorn's sake, on Daniel's behalf. Big burden there. Even rocks crumble. :-(

Oh, they were definitely good for each other in the long run as well as the short. If Jack's heart ached a little more when he was with Bjorn he was still getting other benefits, even if it was just a reminder that he was better off than someone else. Poor Bjorn.
