Taking prompts, people

After a completely wasted day, I feel the need to make certain that tomorrow is more productive. So I'm going to take some prompts. I'll take 4 each on LJ and DW. Anything in the Stargate universe (except Stargate Universe!) is good.

Except Jack/Sam.

“I only require one.”

“So it’s a guest room, or an office. Workout room. Use your imagination.”

“I will attempt to do so.”

“You got your patio here. Great view. There’s ducks, man.”

“Indeed.”

“Get a couple of chairs, sit out there and watch the sun go down. Yeah, real nice.”

“I do not believe the sun sets in the eastern sky, Mitchell.”

“You know, we’re never gonna to find you a place if you insist on being so picky.”

“If memory serves, you are the one who consistently found fault with the other apartments. This apartment, of which you seem to be so fond, costs far more than the ones that were on my list. And the last two of those which we examined would have been more than adequate for my needs.”

“Your bank account is bursting at the seams, Teal’c. What are you saving it for anyway? Get yourself a really nice place, with some room to spread out.”

“I am unaccustomed to ‘spreading out’.”

“You’ve been cooped up under that mountain too long, that’s all. You’ll….”

“I do not believe that I would. I would ‘rattle around’, as you say.”

“Well, not if you had a roommate.”

“A roommate.”

“Yep.”

“May I inquire if you are anticipating moving into this apartment with me, Mitchell?”

“Well, now, that depends.”

“There would no longer be a guest room/office/workout room, were you to do so.”

“Oh, I wouldn’t say that. I’m sure the two of us could figure something out.”

“Indeed?”

“Like I said. Just use your imagination.”

“I am doing so.”

“And? Is anything coming to mind?”

“Several things. Very pleasurable things.”

“Cool! I’ve got me some ideas, too.”

“Then there is only one question that remains. It weighs heavily on my mind.”

“What is it?”

“It is a question of the utmost importance, Mitchell.”

“I’ll answer it as honestly as I can. You know that, right? Talk to me.”

“Against which wall are we to place our big screen television?”

Heeeeee. Yes!

Because you KNOW Teal'c wants something that'll practically cover the entire wall. The better to watch his beloved Star Wars :D

I know! He's been forced to suffer until now. But no more! :-D

Loved this! The big screen TV will most likely cover most of the wall so that Teal'c can watch his beloved Star Wars and Wormhole Extream re-runs.

You know I'll be thrilled any time you grab something from the text-prompts post at

jackdanielpromptfic, but there's nothing like prompts that come from your own flist! And I think it'll be a while before the prompts there reach a critical enough-to-choose-from mass. But I'm happy that you did think of it!

And the new Drifting layout looks quite fetching on your journal. :-)

I haven't attempted any tweaking - probably won't even bother.

I'd ask you to pick out one of the image prompts for me to use if I didn't already have more than enough on my plate. They're so lovely.
