So I read what I'd written so far for the ficathon, and saw something that I knew I might want to change, so I started doing some research...and found out just how far off-base I was. Argh.

Now I need to decide whether to shift the story back in time a year or so in order to fit my original plan for the ending, or keep the year as is and alter the ending completely. Hmm. I actually just thought of a fun way to end it now! Ooh!

It'll just be trickier getting there... *puts thinking cap back on*

Besides, some things in the body of the story would have to be changed as well as the ending. It would only get me more confused!

Ah, but if you changed and wrote the two stories ther would be no need to be confused.

I get confused way too easily, and I've learned in the past how easy it is to put something in a story that really belonged in the other story I was working on at the same time.

I will be checking out that icon usage later! :-D
