Three police vehicles and a rescue squad directly in front of my house. Must be something going on right across the street!

Two of the cop cars just left, so I'll take that as a good sign.

Just the rescue squad now.

After about eleven minutes, the rescue squad has left.

And have you found out if your neighbours are still fine?

I'll probably never know. It's a rental property, so there's a lot of turnover and I never get to know any of them.

I don't know what to make of the fact that the police cars all arrived silently. I had no idea anything was going on until the rescue squad siren stopped, and when I went to the door I saw all the police cars already parked at my curb. Domestic abuse case? Drug bust? o_O

All those police, arriving silently and without flashing lights. Something illegal was going on.

I was at Outback one time with my family. We were sitting outside on a bench waiting for our table to be ready when suddenly the guy next to my cousin and I leaps to feet, whips out a gun and takes off running. Around us about 20 undercover police & SBI emerged out of nowhere. Seconds later they all pounced on some guys in a car.

We fondly refer to it as "My Cousin's Birthday Drug-bust". Good times.
