sidlj, like yourself, was an OpenID account, and those users can't post to their journal or join a community and post. But they can upload half a dozen icons and subscribe to (watch) people and communities and post comments on other people's entries.

Now that I have a real account, sidlj serves no purpose here, so I deleted her (after subscribing to the folks and comms she had subscribed to in her two days here).

Come April 30th, I can either fork over some money or let sid lapse down to a free account, which is less limited than an OpenID account but not by much (once you've been spoiled. *g*)
