I have a friend in Houston - just talked to him on the phone Sunday, but we didn't talk about the weather. *g* He's going to be in Chicago over Christmas and New Year's and I hope to get to see him on my way to or from Wisconsin. It definitely won't be anywhere near 78 degrees.

I actually met him thru the younger sister of shep0709, coincidentally! She's a flautist, and he's a pianist and was assigned to accompany her when she played at a contest in Denton a couple of years back.
