SG-1, The Shroud, very small spoiler

This is only a spoiler if you don't know the guest stars.

I just love the fact that Jack's love for Daniel is so canon that nobody felt the need to try to explain what Jack was doing at the SGC.  He was just there.

Too true, too true....
I just think a phonecall like that from Carter would be effing hilarious, heh.
omg, if the producers could've seen me while watching this, I was squeeing up a storm and jumping aorund on my bed and FOR CRYING OUT LOUD I pet the monitor and said, "My jackie boy is back!" ...I'm officially NUTS.

And I *loved* Carter in this one!!!! She was dead perfect. Not a Super!Sam moment in sight. I especially loved: "Could you ask him how he cloaked the ship?" I could almost see her running through the systems trying to not only figure out how he did it, but, ahem, how to *UNDO* it. "General, about the Odyssey, there's this tiny little problem..."

DITTO!!!! I was thinkingthe same thing about undoing the cloak, LOL. I wonder if Daniel undid it before he went back to normal or if she'll eventually figure it out...Basically I wanna know how they're gonna explain it, LOL.
But wasn't Daniel's shrug just *priceless*?!

The exchange between Carter and Landry might go something like this...

"Well, sir, there's nothing *wrong* with the ship, *exactly*."

"Why doesn't that fill me with confidence? Out with it, Colonel."

"We can't see it."

"It's in orbit. Of course you can't see it."

"No, I mean, we can't *see* it. It's cloaked."

"Colonel, if I recall the specs for the Odyssey, and I do, it doesn't have a cloak."

"*Didn't* have a cloak."

"Meaning..."

"Meaning Daniel, or more precisely, Merlin provided it with a cloak when they took the ship and now I can't figure out how to turn it off."

"Right. I'm sure you'll think of something. Besides, maybe having an invisible ship will be advantageous. We can maintain it with the invisible budget we're going to have once Woolsey gets through with us."

*chokes* Invisible budget!

Can't you just hear that coming out of Landry's mouth? :-)

And I'm not going to go watch again to find out. Not. Not, not, not...

G'won, what could it hurt? You know you want to. Nobody minds. Everybody's doin' it. G'won, fire it up again. It'll make you feel so goooooooood.

:-)
