Top Five meme, stolen from around my flist

"Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic--favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same. Everyone else in the world should do it..."

Fortunately a lot of people are doing this already, so I won't be tagging anyone.

Firstly, I've done this meme before, here, a year and a half ago. So, without disowning any of those stories as favorites, I get to come up with new ones, right? *g*

So, in no particular order:

Believe It or Not: OC Lt. Karen Lehman! This one was so much fun to write and got a ton of great feedback. People really like an Outsider's POV - who knew?

In the Fullness of Time: This was a dream to write, heh. I love the things my brain comes up with when I am trying to fall asleep. Damn marvellous betas, and glory of glories, [livejournal.com profile] synecdochicremixed it! Here.

Shades of Don Ho: A romantic tag for 'Ark of Truth', and I'm not kidding around when I say romantic. I took my time writing this, wanting to create an atmosphere full of little details. Meanwhile, Jack was working on getting all those little details right, too. First Time, after all those years. *sigh*

Matinee/Idyll: (we'll call it one story for the purposes of this meme) Best thing I've ever written, honestly, because I stole from all the best. [personal profile] synecdochicmade me fall in love with Cam Mitchell in her fanfic, [personal profile] ivorygatestook over my brain, and [personal profile] paianhelped me remix her story, As You Were. I've said it before: if you didn't read these because you're a J/D OTPer, I promise you... in the end it is all about the J/D.

The Quantum Mechanics of Love: A very old plot bunny that never would have had an ending if not for a ficathon prompt. I'd love it for that alone, but there was also the way that Daniel took over during the writing process and did and said the most perfect things. Can you call it banter when their hearts are in danger of breaking? I just re-read it and the dialogue knocked my socks off.

Wheee!
These really show your breadth of talent; humour, romance, first-time, *othercoughpairings*
Proof, if proof were needed, that you rock. :-)
And I can't pick a favourite, although I adore Shades of Don Ho and In the Fullness of Time.
Just keep giving us more. :-)
*hugs*

Ohhh, yes - Special love for "Don Ho" and "Believe", but those are all good ones. I love that they show off your range.

What, you didn't list your MarySueTrek story? :oD I do like when people list these. I find stuff I missed and it's always a joy to find a hidden gem!

You do write a variety!

I don't know what it is about outsider POVs that are so intriguing; I even keep a list of them. I guess part of it is that they're just new and different from the regular cast of characters. *adds outsider bunny to my to-do list*
