SGA, 100 words, rated G

Summary:  John is called to Elizabeth's office.

RUMORS

“Elizabeth? You wanted to see me?”

“Come in, John.” A quick nervous smile. “Have a seat.”

John sat down and waited. And waited. His eyebrows quirked.

“This is awkward,” Elizabeth blushed. “It’s come to my attention that your relationship with Dr. McKay may have…changed.”

“Changed?”

“Grown more…intimate.”

John’s face scrunched up. “Rodney?”

“I could be misinformed. But at any rate…”

All John heard of her speech was words like “multinational”, “intergalactic” and “open-minded”. He stood and straightened his chair. “Okay, then…”

The minute he was alone, he did a little happy dance, and raced off to find Rodney.

This is cute. I like how John feigns innocence, then runs off to tell Rodney the good news.
