Announcement!

I'm going to be launching a new Dreamwidth journal for non-fandom matters. Mostly, you will all get to watch me flail as I try to cope with being a new homeowner of a 100-year-old house. Everyone is invited to follow, and to offer advice, encouragement, and/or mocking laughter.

But first I need a name for the journal!

Poll #5377 Name My Journal

Which name should I use for my new journal?

Oooh, add me to the new one when it's set up - I can have the 100 year old house conversation for days...

details, details :)

even if it's not all house stuff all the time, i still think that it'd be a cool name for a journal

To keep it separate from fandom, how about leaving Sid out of it and maybe going with 100yroldhouse or centennialhome or something house related.

In that case, I rather like sidtoo or maybe sidsplace.

brainofck - great name that suffers from the sidspalce problem. I suggest using the cool name and hitting people who call you Brain o'Fuck with a virtual frying pan, as needed. *nods* Ahem.

How about Sid_the_Sage? That way you could pass on your wisdom in many different areas. Good luck with the new house. Houses that old have unique problems, but they're usually worth the effort.

sid_irl? sids_life?

My house is "only" 90 years old, but I'll be happy to commiserate. :D

Sidding_pretty?

I dunno, I'm crap at these things. I voted for sid2 because that's what it is and it's short and sweet. :-)

Please to be letting me follow you wherever you go. Baby.

I like sidtoo personally....you'll always be sid to me and this is your 2nd journal....

I'd love to hear all the news about the house too.....it's a non-stop job looking after property but with older houses can be so rewarding...if I wasn't getting so much older and with a hubby with lack of mobility I'd adore to buy a little old cottage and renovate it....

Sadly I think my next move will be to somewhere smaller with all mod cons and easy to keep clean and tidy!!...
