I have two invitation codes for Dreamwidth now, two tomorrow

Yes, I have FOUR invitation codes to hand out, and I'm going to make two of them available right now. 

This code will allow you to set up a free Dreamwidth account.

If you don't get your hands on an invitation, you'll still be able to set up a one-month paid account for $US 3.00 and then let it lapse down to a basic account if you choose, so don't panic!

And of course anyone can purchase and maintain a paid account if you've got the money to burn.  :-)

I'd like to have an invite, just in case everyone decides to move over their like everyone has been talking about 'cause, being the sheep that I am, I will follow everyone else, wherever they may go, but I don't want to take one from someone who will use it way more that I might. Let me know if you still have any spare invites after everyone else has a chance at them.

You can always follow things over there with an OpenID account, which gives you six icons and you can subscribe to journals and have a reading list, and comment. You just can't post to your "journal", but it sounds like you wouldn't be wanting that anyway.

I dunno, I'd like to have a fully functional account so that I can post my fics and vids and stuff there, but as I said, I don't want to take an invite away from anyone who might use it more then me. I'll just wait and see what happens.

This isn't the last time there will be invite codes for a free account, and there will be some people who never use all theirs up and are willing to pass them along. Or $3 bucks will get you a month of paid time that you can then let lapse down to a free account which will allow you to post away!

I just want to be clear: you only need an invitation if you want to set up a free account. If you plan to get a paid account, you can do that (starting last night) without an invitation.

Here's all the facts on the different account types and what you get with them. Just let me know if you still need the invite!
