Another Appe-teaser!

I can't help myself!  Here is another 100 words from the story I'm working on:

Daniel skidded to a halt at the foot of the ramp. Alternate SG-1 was moving towards him, hands at their sides. He met the other Daniel’s eyes, and felt a thrill run through him. “Hey,” he said, inadequately.

“Hi!” the other man replied, grinning. He approached slowly, with his hand held out. Daniel reached for it. Shook it, disbelievingly. Grinned inanely back. Turned towards Jack.

“Daniel,” Jack said. Twice. In stereo, and in two very different tones of voice. The man who was reaching out for Daniel looked up over his shoulder, and dropped his hand back to his side.

I don't want to pre-publish so many snippets that people won't even bother to read the story!

How many words you written so far? You could limit yourself to 100 words at least ever *insert large number here*.

Just make sure you don't post any of the really important bits! Things like that are best left for the actual fic.

Though if you decided to not post any more I guess we'll just have to cope!

I'm glad you're looking forward to it! I'm just not sure how long it's going to take me to get it written! I can't even post it in installments since I'm writing things out of order, and will probably have to go back and change scenes later on.

So the snippets are really my way of being able to share immediately.
