At least the sun is shining here! And in 24 hours we'll be inching above zero. Next weekend we'll get above freezing!

Lots of businesses have closed their doors today, as well as the schools. Hopefully most people are staying home...and don't have hundred-year-old furnaces!

It will. Meanwhile, I have coaxed the thermostat up to 62. *snuggles up all cozy-like and sips hot chocolate*

It's still very cold outside, but the killer windchills have departed. We're in the single digits today for a high, but that's ten degrees warmer than yesterday. Indoor temp is at 63 right now, up from 61 and I'm currently aiming for 64!

I never turn it that high, anyway. Usually 68. I'll get there one of these days!

Washing dishes and making a baked pasta dish warmed me up pretty nicely. I also found a bottle of red wine. It not only goes with the pasta, it probably will lead to having hot flashes later on! :-D
