Taking prompts, people

sidAfter a completely wasted day, I feel the need to make certain that tomorrow is more productive. So I'm going to take some prompts. I'll take 4 each on LJ and DW. Anything in the Stargate universe (except Stargate Universe!) is good.

But Jack couldn’t very well be burgling his own house, even if he didn’t actually live there any more. And Daniel had seen that particular ass too many times over the years to mistake it, even if a year and a half of desk jobs had made it a bit broader in the beam.
So Jack was in town. Presumably Daniel would’ve known that if he’d checked his emails before he left the mountain, but he’d been too eager to get home after six days offworld with SG-11. Presumably Sam could’ve told him, but neither she nor Mitchell had been around, and Teal’c had taken advantage of SG-1’s stand-down while Daniel was out on loan to pay a long overdue visit to Ishta.
Only a slight feeling of guilt had made Daniel take the turn to Jack’s house. He’d skipped his usual weekly check-in before he’d gone offworld, so he might as well take a quick peek before going home to collapse with a clear conscience. The house was nominally ‘on the market’ since soon after Jack had departed for Washington, but Daniel knew Jack had rejected a few offers, calling them “too low.” So Daniel continued to stop by once a week to make sure the lawn service outfit had done their job and that no pipes had burst and that the cleaning lady had been there.
That definitely wasn’t the cleaning lady in bed with Jack.
“Jackson!”
Oh, shit. “I’m sorry. I’m… I’ll go. I….”
“Crap.”
“I’m sorry, Jack.” Daniel found himself rooted to the spot, swaying with the force of his desire to be gone.
Jack rose from the bed and came towards him quickly, hand outstretched.
That wasn’t the only part of him that was outstretched, but Daniel managed to get it right and reach for the hand.
And thirty-seven sweaty minutes later, when Jack asked, “Aren’t you glad you stayed?”, Daniel could only murmur in exhausted contentment as he drifted off to sleep with his head pillowed on Mitchell’s chest and Jack wrapped around him from the back.
When he woke it was nearly dark, and he was alone with Jack.
And Jack was kissing him, and Daniel thought that that might be the most pleasant way to wake up ever as he kissed him back.
In a quiet moment, he asked, “Did Mitchell leave?”
Jack shook his head. “He’s whipping up some food.”
“He’s good in the kitchen,” Daniel said, stretching lazily.
“Among other places.”
Daniel laughed. “Yes.”
Jack rose up on one elbow and looked down at him with a serious face. “You’re all right with that?”
Daniel nodded. “Apparently.”
“And you’re all right with…?” Jack wagged a finger back and forth between their bodies.
Daniel didn’t bother to answer. Jack stared down at him, squinting to read him in the deepening dusk.
The smile that spread slowly across Jack’s face was enough to light up the room.

I love all the implications of this.

And Daniel seems to have been very aware of Jack's ass. *g*
(Don't ask me how I did that! All I had was the first line when I started writing, and I didn't even know who was doing the 'walking in on'. I got that sorted out, and then the story demanded some strange bits of humor and finally some schmoop instead of pr0n. And then I wanted to finish up with Daniel hearing Mitchell whistling in the kitchen as Jack started kissing him again, but the story told me it was over when Jack smiled! Freaky shit, man.)
