“Never thought I’d live to see General O’Neill in tears,” Cam said, glancing in his side mirror before changing lanes. “Not sayin’ they weren’t manly tears, but all the same.”
“It was his wedding day, and he is very much in love,” Teal’c answered.
“Yeah. And when your bride comes up the aisle… up? Down?” Cam looked at the rear view mirror but only received a shrug. “Well, either way… and damn, she was looking fine, wasn’t she?”
“Her dress suited her extremely well.”
“Mighty fine. We looked pretty spiffy ourselves, too.” Cam grinned. “So, anyway, they’re off on their honeymoon and I thought the rest of us should take advantage of our down time. Road trip sound good to you guys?”
“An excellent plan.”
“Sam?”
Sam leaned forward between the front seats. “Anywhere but Minnesota,” she laughed. “The General threatened to kill anyone who disturbs them.”
“And Vala holds a grudge like nobody’s business, so we don’t want to piss her off.”
“We also should not underestimate Daniel Jackson-O’Neill’s potential for wrath,” Teal’c added, smiling serenely.
“Right. South it is.” Cam changed lanes again, heading for an exit. “Arizona? New Mexico?”
“Either,” said Teal’c.
“Why not both?” said Sam.

Jack was sober and pale. His hands shook a little as he tried to straighten his tie. Daniel gently batted them away and took over. Tie adjusted, he smoothed Jack's lapels and brushed a fingertip over the white rosebud in his buttonhole. "You look great."
"I feel like I'm going to throw up."
"This is the right thing." Jack got the soft, faraway look in his eyes that made Daniel's heart break. "It's perfect," Daniel added, taking Jack's hand and tucking it into the crook of his elbow before leading him out to meet his Sara.
