phoenix_gate: 'Back Against the Wall'. It's a gen, PG, 710 word look at Chancellor Travell of Tollana and her reaction to 'the JackandDaniel show' as she's in the process of deceiving them during "Between Two Fires". I cross-posted but forgot to mention it in my own journal. *shakes head*
I just ate a handful of grapes. I need to do more of this, every day. Until they're gone. And then buy more fruit.
The broccoli I bought, yeesh, I don't even know how long ago is still in great shape, and was wonderful in the stir-fry I whipped up last night. I think I'll go cut up and cook another head and add it into the leftovers. Ooh, and another head can go into tonight's Tuna Helper, to make it faux-healthy. And I can have grapes for dessert.
Went for a walk, second day in a row, twice as far this time. I need to go farther tomorrow, and at least as far every day. I could even walk twice a day! And I need to drag out the exercycle.
In the middle of reading a story byprincessofgeeks last night, my muse began to speak to me. I sat and listened to her, and then I opened up a new Word document and began to write. I need to write more often. I should try to write a little every day. Story should get posted later today for smutday's Fetish Friday. *g* Did I forget to mention that I wrote smut?
I had friends over for tacos and margaritas on Cinco de Mayo. Go me for entertaining!
I'm making plans to go to an orchestra concert next weekend. I have a friend in the flute section who has free tickets.
I filled a bag with pantry items for the Stamp out Hunger food drive tomorrow. Just have to remember to put it by the mail box.
I'm managing to keep three plants alive. \o/ I definitely have to try my hand at some herbs. I love cooking and garnishing with fresh herbs.
I called my sister-in-law and we talked for an hour and laughed a lot and pledged to do it more often.
