sid: (J/D always)
There's been some discussion about things slowing down in the Stargate fandom (J/D in particular), and so some of us are trying to spread the word that we're still writing, we still love Stargate and our boys, and we still have plot bunnies nibbling at our ankles.

RL may be slowing us down, but we're still here. :-)

Actually Underway:

'New Heights, New Depths', a Daniel/Jack D/s fic that I started for the Dreamwidth Open Beta Launch Get-out-the-porn challenge. NC-17, 2433 words. Sadly not touched since May 2009. *spanks self*

'Transits of the Moon', J/D, R, 2928 words. Haven't touched it in a couple of weeks. I'm very happy with what's there so far. Those of you who saw the earliest draft may recall dancing. Now to write a First Time love scene. *meeps*

Unnamed PornBattle was-to-be, NC-17, 1707 words, Jack/Daniel/Cam, sequel to Irish Reel. For [personal profile] jdjunkie. Last touched at the end of January. Three-way sex scenes are hard. (Although in fact Cam isn't doing much more than watching. Believe it or not, that's a special treat he's being given.)

NOT Actually Underway:

Need to get something J/D going for Kink Bingo amnesty period, which ends when the new session begins some time in May. I did a poll on this, and we narrowed my kink choices down to phone sex, guns, gags, obedience or leather/latex/rubber. I need to pick one and run with it! Feel free to state a preference in the comments. (I'll feel equally free to ignore all suggestions.) Will be at least 500 words minimum.

[personal profile] sarkka left me this J/D prompt a year ago. I haven't forgotten! I just let myself get hung up on stupid things, like finding just the right alien name for my OMC, when I should just call him 'Fred' and do a find-and-replace later!

And finally, there's the 1921 J/D AU that I'm not writing. But the research never ends! This could be Big Bang-length if I ever actually write it. The basic story is Jack, ex-WWI pilot, driving to Colorado in his 1916 Model T to start a new job in the aviation industry. He picks up a hitchhiker outside of Chicago who's headed his way. EPIC ROAD TRIP ensues. And in 1921: the roads suck, cars break down a lot, sometimes you have to camp out, and when you do occasionally hit civilization you can't even get a drink. Legally, that is. ;-)
