Re-reading this I'm really struck by what a difficult character Jack is to write, especially for slash, and you handle him so deftly. The Jack of a lot of fanfic (including my own I'm sure) bears little resemblance to canon. Especially the way he talks. But I can absolutely BELIEVE this Jack is one onscreen. Well done.
