Being social out the wazoo!

I have been out and about to an alarming degree this past week. Some of it was the search for air conditioning during the heat wave. I spent last Monday and Thursday at my favorite restaurant, sitting in the bar enjoying beer, Wimbledon, food and free WiFi until the battery on my netbook began to die. Tuesday I went to a friend's house for a cookout. Yes, there was a/c, but we spent a lot of time sweating outside on the deck. It was a lot of fun.

Tonight *checks clock* last night, I went to a murder mystery play in Milwaukee with my BFF and her husband. One of her friends had a role in it. It was fun! *looks for link* Speak Easy of Murder. I was given a hat, scarf and purse as my costume, and a card with my Sekrit Identity on it. The buffet was good, too: shrimp cocktail, cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, meatballs, sandwiches, fruit. Wine and beer were included, too. Afterwards we headed back homewards to my friends' favorite bar/restaurant and imbibed a few drinkies to round out the evening.

Then I went home and washed dishes? IDEK. First time it's been cool enough!
