Thanks for sharing this. I found Jack completely charming in this AU! His interactions with the folks they met along the way--- that's when I could picture his smile and hear his voice. And Daniel... I didn't expect to, but I laughed out loud here Jack's breath…mint-scented. He'd brushed his teeth. Daniel wished he'd thought to do that. If he'd only known…had Jack known? That didn't matter. Focus. Daniel' s mind never stops! The short break I was supposed to be taking from shoveling snow, became a delightfully long road trip. Thanks for the journey. Eremc
