I've wondered about Tom as well. He'd hit puberty, and that could have sent his father looking for a new victim. *nods* And as a corollary, you'd then have to wonder if he knew or suspected what Daniel was facing. But possibly his father wasn't quite warped enough to be sexually attracted to his own flesh and blood. Anyway, I'm glad that Tom's life seems to be in good working order, whatever father-related trauma he's had to deal with.
