J/D do hold entire conversations that consist of nothing more than the other's name, and here Jack says it all.
Daniel told Jack he'd been wounded, and then he showed his wound and Jack was horrified; but it was when Daniel forgave Jack for his inability to be open in return that all Jack's walls came tumbling, tumbling down. He's frankly overwhelmed - unusual for Jack!
