This fic has been a long time in the making, and I had a lot of help, beginning with people like melayneseahawk, lolmac, and karmageddon who were there at the beginning, back in August, 2010, to read the earliest draft and cheer me onwards. princessofgeeks was there, too, and also at the second draft, along with muck_a_luck, and paian, who, along with jdjunkie, did the final round of betaing on the completed fic.

I've been playing at arboreal_gate, the Stargate fic tree community.

I've contributed a couple of continuations to the Fluffy, Branch #2 cracky hugmonster story.

And I just posted an 1100 word fic start, NC-17 Jack/Daniel cliffhanger. This is the story I Wordle'd about a month back. I've added the beginning scene it needed, but still have no idea how to continue it. But that's just what arboreal_gate is for! Hopefully someone will have an idea and write a snippet, a paragraph, a sentence...

synecdochic has an ongoing OMG We Need Some Porn In Here Stat meme, and I left the following prompt awhile back: Jack/Daniel, after they trick the Aliens into Making Them Do It, because Daniel really likes having an audience, and Jack really, really likes reaping the benefits.

I had a busy, productive weekend! :-) There will be sg1_five_things links forthcoming after the unscreening.

I wound up writing two versions of my story for spook_me this year: a dark version and a lighter version. The 'lite' version has a few differences scattered throughout and a very different ending. *g* Both are NC-17 for sexual content.

My chosen prompt was: werewolf

Author's Note 1: the genesis for this story came months ago in a fun conversation with lolmac while I was contemplating my shiny new bingo card. She came through for me again when I decided to run with the idea (which she had double-dog dared me to do!), and I both thank her kindly for her brainstorming efforts and give her full credit for selling me on the concept and showing Daniel the road to follow.

Author's Note 2: this is the Daniel Jackson who blew up Moscow. What he does with Jack is dubcon at best. If you're squicked by that, just keep reminding yourself, "It's only a dream."
