Yesterday was the prettiest day imaginable to spend out at the ballpark... and the Brewers won, which just made it even better. \o/
I got my ficathon story posted, long distance as it were, and that seems to have worked out perfectly. \o/
The only downside is that my computer time will be limited until I get back home late on Wednesday, so I may not get many opportunities to start reading all the shiny new J/D fic. *pouts*
But aside from that life is good and I may get to see my best friend tonight - we've known each other for nearly 40 years now. Which is obviously impossible because I can't be more than 30, 35 tops....

Date: Aug. 19th, 2008 05:49 pm (UTC)I don't really follow baseball right now, but I got deeply involved with the Indianapolis Triple A team many years ago. Season tickets and listening to away games on the radio and keeping score.
And, being me, checking out library books about the history of the game. *g*
A day at the ballpark is always good, even if the home team loses. But when they win? Wheeeee!
