sidOkay, so I was reading this J/D ficathon story by sugarsbadhabitlast night, and I was inspired to write a drabble:

“Goddamnit.”
“Jack?”
“You’re flirting with me.”
“I… what?”
Jack pushed Daniel up against the wall and leaned. “You. Are. Flirting with me.”
Daniel took a deep breath and tried not to splutter. “I certainly am… listen… you… “
“Are too,” Jack insisted.
Daniel stared into Jack’s eyes. “Am not,” he said firmly.
Jack stepped away and folded his arms. “Right.”
“Right,” Daniel repeated, pointedly straightening his shirt. “I’m not doing anything different than I normally do.”
Jack smiled slowly. “I know.”
“You…?”
“It just took me this long to figure it out.”
“Oh.”
“Gotcha,” Jack said, stepping in and leaning.
