The Pimping of the Ficathons

Here's a new community: lilblckdressfic



This ficathon is based on the premise that Daniel Jackson and Cameron Mitchell are the "little black dresses" of the Stargate franchise. In other words, they look good with anybody, male or female.

In still other words, Daniel/Jack, Cam/Teal'c, Daniel/Janet, Cam/Jack, Daniel/Cam, Cam/Sam/Daniel... whatever permutation floats your floation device. You sign up to write a story of at least 700 words and receive a story with your pairing/threesome/etc. of choice in return. Stories are due December 13th.

Here's a low-stress multi-fandom Halloween ficathon community: spook_me

There's no fic exchange, no pressure to finish, no problem if you finish six months late. And if you're not having fun, just stop! I like this concept. :-)

You'll receive two secret prompts (titles of 1960's horror/scifi movies) and you get to choose your own monster or have one assigned to you! Only one of those 3 prompts has to turn up in your final product, which can be written in any fandom you choose. The signup asks you up front what your fandom will be, but you're absolutely free to change your mind.

Stories can be chilling and gory, smutty, funny - anything you want. All genres and ratings are allowed.
