The prompt was: Five things Teal'c told Ry'ac before he got married

My #3 thing was: "There must be cake. O’Neill has offered to tend to this matter on your behalf."

msbeata  responded: That Teal'c's pretty wise.  But I think he likes the cake too.


This led me to speculate on how the conversation between Jack and Teal'c might have gone.


CAKE ADDENDUM:

T: O'Neill. The wedding is once again 'on'.

O: And you're down with that, big guy?

T: I am.

O: Cool. Well, let Walter know if there's any....

T: Am I correct when I surmise that cake is customary?

O: Teal'c. Buddy. It's not only customary, it's necessary. Want me to have Walter...?

T: This is to be one of the most important days in my son's life.

O: Yes. Well. How's about I handle the cake thing personally?

T: You are most kind. I accept on my son's behalf.

So did Jack find someone to bake the beer cake, or did he have to do it himself? Did the extra frosting get licked from Daniel, or from Jack? See? Sometimes these Five Things lists just beg for more! :D

And just to prove that different authors come up with different ideas, my thought was that Jack has his favorite bakery on speed dial!

(and I think the frosting licking should be mutual and simultaneous)
