7. Yes, angel, I'm gonna send you over. The chances are you'll get off with life. That means if you're a good girl, you'll be out in 20 years. I'll be waiting for you. If they hang you, I'll always remember you. The Maltese Falcon, 1941, guessed by [livejournal.com profile] chattycatsmeow

3 & 7 are Bogie and if it wasn't so late at night I'd be able to tell you which movie.

Most of these sound familiar, in fact.

At the moment I am more concerned with "Why can't I find the spider that just went under the couch??"

GAH!

edited to add - I just realized where #3 is from. Duh!! Now off to find the broom and start poking things.

Dammit. I can't find the spider and now my bad knee hurts from kneeling on the floor and poking under the furniture.

#5 makes me think "Costume Drama". First to come to mind is Scarlet Pimpernel, but I don't think that 's right. (There's a movie I need to re-watch)

Hmmm.... I'm going to go with "Robin Hood" for #5.

I missed the "Brad" in the wee hours! That's Pillow Talk!
(now help me remember the name of the recent remake - not an exact remake, but so that style - w/Rene Zellwiger, cause I can't get the theme music out of my head!)

Aha! Down With Love, with Renee Zelwegger and Ewan McGregor (who's kinda hot in his nerdy persona, imho)
The more I think about it, the more it mirrors Pillow Talk...they even have the split screen telephone scene *g* I think you'd enjoy it!

Dagnabbit. I *know* that I know #1 but I can't even dredge up a voice or an image or a feeling for it.

This will drive me bonkers.

Hee! We didn't have a color TV growing up, so ALL the movies were B&W. I didn't know that The Wizard of Oz was in colour until I was in high school. :)

Yay! I love Nick and Nora, partying their way through intrigue and mystery, bantering all the while. Myrna was also great with Cary Grant in one of my other fave films, "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House."
