I've been reading so much excellent SGA fic lately. I just had to throw a pebble into the ocean that surrounds the city.

MAYBE NEXT TIME
He should say something. Next time, he should totally say something.
Next time those eyes crinkled up the way they did, and that lopsided grin came his way.
Next time he got whapped on the head. How kindergarten was that anyway? He should say something then. “I like you, too. Wanna go play in my bedroom?”
He really should.
But there would be a next time for that other thing that always happened; that thing he hates. That thing where the gorgeous woman throws herself at John, and Rodney ceases to exist.
So, next time, Rodney doesn’t say a word.

Ever tried Dairy-Eze or any of those things that are supposed to help? I tried them only to find out (the hard way) that I not only can't tolerate lactose, I also can't tolerate lactase. *shudders* But for most people they do seem to work.
