Crossposting and de-friending

I've already done a little de-friending on LJ in order to stop reading the same posts twice.  De-friending is the simplest way for me to handle it since there aren't any historic and valuable f-locked posts on my LJ to which I'd be blocking access.

But instead of doing it piecemeal I figured it was time for me to get the skinny from the people in the know: YOU.

If you're crossposting from DW to LJ on a consistent basis, lemme know in comments and I'll defriend you over on LJ.  You don't have to be directing comments to DW - if I want to find your LJ post to check the comments over there I can do that easily enough.

I'm personally pretty inconsistent at this point!  I'll find a rhythm eventually. *g*  But, for example, I see no need to crosspost this entry. *shrugs*

Ah, the water's fine in the new pool. *g* It's a little quiet sometimes - and way too busy at others (but that's mostly because of Open Beta launch festivities, so that should just about be over.) I think this is already a great new place for fandom to play. :-)

I am posting different things in DW than I post in LJ. there will be some crossover, but I am making sure there is specific content that only shows up in one or the other...guess I am difficult that way LOL

Not a problem - that's just the kind of thing I wanted to know. I've been kind of doing that, too. I didn't want to de-friend someone on LJ just because I happened to see the same post twice when that might not be the norm.

(But, yes, you are difficult, lol!)

Since I got this account, other than "I have invitation codes available", only one thing got posted on LJ and not here on DW, and that wasn't intentional. So I think it's safe to defriend me. I'll try to be good! *g*

I've set up a "not_on_DW" filter over there I'm using for reading LJ flist. That's doing me for now. (Yeah, you're not on it, so I'm not seeing your LJ. :-)

De-friend away. I won't know how much I'm cross-posting/cross-linking until I've used both services for another couple of months -- it's open beta for my journal here as much as for the service, and I usually don't post more than a couple of times a week -- but fic and icons will be either cross-posted or cross-linked for the near future, and probably reading logs too.

I'm cross-posting, and finally got around to making an lj filter to take off everyone on dw. I feel so efficient :o) Plus, I love the layout I have on dw, it has such pretty colours.

It will not surprise you to know that I don't have a clue what I'm doing. I'm still mainly posting at LJ, which I still consider home. This is my country residence.
