Teevee PSA(s): Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice

This Saturday, May 30th, on ABC at 10 pm EDT - a new episode of Pushing Daisies! There's one scheduled for the following week as well, which is as far as my crystal ball is allowing me to peer into the future, sadly.

Looking ahead to June, Burn Notice returns with its Season 3 premiere on Thursday, June 4th on USA Network at 9 pm EDT.

Burn Notice previous season marathons start on June 2nd, at 6 am EDT, with the series pilot.

Michael Shanks's four episodes air June 4th at 7 am, 3pm, 4 pm and 5 pm EDT.

Hurray for Burn Notice, but curses to whoever scheduled Michael Shanks' eps when most of the viewers, including me, will be at work, dammit!

No VCR, DVR? :-(

No DVR. Finally broke down and bought a decent TV and hope to have the DVD player hooked up to it and the cable box this weekend. But in order to catch all three eps on one disc, I have to reduce the quality. Might just try for the last two. Those are the ones that count the most since he's only in the very end of the third to last ep. Good thing I've got the Season 2 DVD set on pre-order. :D

True, he's barely in that ep. You could maybe squeeze the last five minutes of that ep onto your disc? Experiment and see how much space you actually get at the setting you want - my experience with tapes has been that there's usually about 8 minutes leeway, not sure about discs, though. I haven't played with my DVR enough to know those things, lol.

Thanks for the Pushing Daisies heads-up! I wasn't sure if they were going to be broadcasting the rest of them, and I don't know if my DVR would have caught them -- now I know to check the scheduled recordings.

Turns out I had told it to stop recording all new episodes, so I would have missed these. Very glad for the heads-up now. :-)

I wound up having to stream the first episode on Sunday, because there were funnel cloud sightings in the area Saturday night, and the show was interrupted by weathermen!

Now I have to remember to record again next week, and next week, and hope for better weather. *g*

True, but I'd rather watch them from a comfy chair, and I don't have a laptop and can't burn DVDs.
