If it weren't cloudy and sprinkling rain, it's hard to imagine how light it would actually still be.  We still freak out over this kind of thing in central Indiana, since we only went on DST a few years ago.  Nothing to really get worked up about when the clock says it's 8:15, but 9:15?  Wow.

We're on the western edge of the Eastern Time Zone, so, for example, our sunset is about 45 minutes later than New York City's today.

And it just set while I was typing this, at 9:17.  Think I'll go out and see what the sky looks like now.  :-)

I still miss those warm summer nights, getting to play outside late, walking up to the Dairy Queen at twilight to get a nickle cone and watching the fireflies come out on the walk back.

Here, it's like...somebody please turn off the damn sun so I can get some sleep! :o)

Here is Scotland we have full daylight until around 10pm when the sun begins to set. So, it's light until nearly 11pm.

I love this time of year :-)

I was cheering Laura Robson on earlier against Daniela Hantuchova. She played well despite losing the match in three sets. Now watching Serena Williams against Neuza Silva on Centre Court.
