sidI've been just a wee bit under the weather for the last few days. And that comes hard on the heels of a week at Dad's, so that explains any perceived quietness. :-)
Stuff:

My brother, an IT-type, pointed me to it. You download the update checker and run it and within maybe one minute total you have a nice list of the updates available to various programs on your computer, and can install any that you choose. For example, your results list will show the latest version of Adobe Reader, how much space is needed to install it, and what version you currently have. I had a list of 13 items and pared it down to 3.
2. Belated Weekend Thunk froml_jade: oh, RDA, you are so adorable.
3. J/D ficathon stories due in TWO WEEKS?!? I'm maybe half done. I got distracted by my Cam!trope story, and still really want to finish that now that I'm feeling a bit better. Well, I've never missed a deadline yet, so I'm sure I'll come through somehow. *bites nails*
4. TV is back! I ♥ fall. Eureka and Warehouse 13 have gone away, but House and NCIS and The Mentalist and Castle and Dollhouse and Desperate Housewives and The Office and 30 Rock have come back. I'm not planning on trying anything new this season, unless someone has an awesome, can't-miss suggestion?
