three_weeks_for_dw Challenge follow_friday task, and we're given 48 hours to accomplish it. THIS STILL COUNTS. *g*
Here are some spiffy communities I think everybody should follow:
bitesizedcleaning From the sticky Welcome Post: Here, we are going to help one another create plans for tackling that room that no one is allowed into, for finding a way to keep dust from building up on the bookshelves, for making our homes our sanctuaries, and for living lives where cleaning does not equal stress. You are encouraged to ask questions, make suggestions, and be a cheerleader for all. You are not required to do any of those things.
Set your timer for five minutes, or ten, or fifteen and work on that closet (or drawer, or sinkful of dishes, or garden) until it goes off. Then sit down and put your feet up. :-)
do_it From the profile page: Share: goals, strategies for getting things done and becoming more productive, successes and setbacks.
Get: support, ideas for how to accomplish your goals, inspiration, and epiphanies.
Post a to-do list! Ask advice! Or, this was a good one: list 20 Tiny Transitions that would improve your life (and help you see change as a non-stressful good thing.)
smutday From the profile page: This community is all about the Smut. And that's the only thing we're looking for here. Your own fic, or recs to someone else's, manipulations, original art, photographs, videos, icons - it doesn't matter. We just want the Smut. Fanfiction from any fandom and of all stripes: slash, femmeslash or het is accepted, we're not picky. No matter what it takes: rough sex, tender romance, kinky fetish or vanilla missionary position - as long as it gets you hot, it's all good.
The pictures tend towards erotica rather than outright porn. Photos, cool artwork, posters, comics. Men and women in all sizes and colors and combinations, and if that's not enough for you there are angels and demons and mermaids....
pretty_pixels From the profile page: A place for finding the perfect icons for your journal. The majority will be stock icons.
My usual style is simple: a textless stock icon with a thin white border. :)
I have a tendancy to make and post icons obsessively - usually in batches over 100. I hope I can be forgiven. :)
Pretty is the word! I have to forcibly stop myself from taking all the flower icons in each batch. Browsing through the new batches is very relaxing. :-)
