notifications fail

sidI've been lucky up until a few days ago, but I'm not getting any lj notifications at all now.
I think I'll most likely turn off comments here on my journal and ask for comments over on Dreamwidth instead. My lj inbox will be plenty full with community comments and replies to comments I made on other people's journals (after I adjust my settings), so that's really the only thing I can do to sort things out a little for myself.
How's about you guys? Have you been affected?
