I hug the above to myself in sheer delight. *g* So essence-of-them when they're in this mood.

There's such a lot packed into this fic. It's deliciously dense, in the best possible way, even though it appears bantery and fairly light-hearted. There's history and love and what they mean to each other and how everything has gone unspoken but understood to that point. And on top of that ... there's bed! I could ask for no more.

They are very adorable when Jack's soothing ruffled Daniel feathers. Whether Daniel's genuinely ruffled ('Go to your happy place') or not, there's always a neat meta layer of Jack knowing him and anticipating him (or ribbing him, gently or with an edge). I should find and load that 'No, he's not prettier than you' icon of claritylore's. Cranky pissy meta, so endearing. *g*
