HARD FACTS

"I'm just against the whole idea."

"Okay," Daniel said slowly. "I thought it was all decided."

"Yeah, well, I let you talk me into it."

"Hey! None of that! All I did was agree when you brought it up!" Daniel said indignantly.

"I don't like it. That's all."

Daniel's expression softened. "Things change, Jack. People change, time marches on. There's no turning back the clock."

"Unless," Jack said, gesturing, "you have a solar flare and a wormhole."

"Time travel wouldn't make either one of us any younger," Daniel pointed out gently.

"Okay," Jack groused, reaching for the little blue pill.

You want the night before the morning after. *g* With all the necessary smut included, of course. Well, I've been known to write prequels, so if inspiration ever strikes...

(I'm gonna guess that the aftermath would involve nothing more than passing out, because they sure act in the morning like two men who haven't discussed what happened at all.)
