Every time there's one of those discussions or wanks about writing PoC, they're always Earth-centric. I'm always, "But Teal'c is First Prime. His god is a PoC!" And Teyla's a leader of her people. And Ford's experiences are so depressingly different...

3. Yeah seriously. While the Real World is the Real World, fic has to be written inside the story-world, and there Teal'c, Teyla, and probably even Ronon would not be dealing with skin-color-based predjudice of the standard Earth sort.
