also if you see a poster of that photo of jack and daniel, standing next to each other, touching, jack with his arms folded and daniel with his hands behind his back, both of them giving the camera their fuck you stares, both of them wearing black shirts and green uniform pants (daniel in a sleeveless T, jack's has short sleeves) i would pay pretty much any amount of money for it. it was an official mgm poster.
I don't think I've been to a con since the last Trek one in Anchorage...probably at least 25 years ago. Have a good time and am looking forward to the pics!
I just found out that RDA is filling in for Patrick Stewart at Dragon Con and my friend from here in town is going and I had no clue or I might have tried to go with her!
I'm going to Dragon Con and so stoked that I'm meeting RDA! already bought my autograph ticket and photo op! squeeeee! I went to Chicago in 2010. Enjoyed the heck out of it though I only went one day..
In a heartbeat I would have driven to Chicago had I known! Or had money. Last con I went to was.... 2007? Where I met up with several Thingers. Total blast. Would do it again.
Ooh, I always wished I could have been with you guys. If I'd had the money...
This was not exactly as spur of the moment as it seems, since I've been waiting (and waiting) to see if my SIL would be going with me. Oh, well, it'll be easier to talk slash without her. :-D
