Post Season Ten timeline

For my own information and because you will all need this information if I ever finish up a fic I'm working on...

SG-1 Season Ten, final episode: Sam, Daniel, Teal'c, Cam and Vala are still exploring the galaxy as SG-1.

Ark of Truth: ditto, one assumes.

SGA Season Four, Episode 3 'Reunion': When Sam leaves to take command of Atlantis, Teal'c is there to see her off and tells her that SG-1 will always be there for her, and agrees when she asks "So you guys will come see me?" To me that means Daniel, Teal'c, Cam and Vala are still exploring the galaxy as SG-1. ETA: in the episode before this, it's revealed that Sam's been promoted and is a full colonel.

SGA Season Four, Episode 17 'Midway': When Teal'c comes to Atlantis, he is wearing Jaffa robes, Sam introduces him as "Teal'c of the Jaffa" and she says that "He was a member of SG-1 for over ten years." That tells me Teal'c is no longer on SG-1, and we don't have information about Daniel, Cam or Vala.

SGA Season Five, Episode 1 'Search and Rescue, Part 2': at the end of the episode, Sam tells Rodney that she's going back to Earth because "SG-1" has been invited to witness the extraction of Ba'al from his host, and because she's having a performance review. When she reaches the SGC she finds out from Woolsey that she's being relieved of command.

Continuum: Jack, Sam, Daniel, Teal'c, Cam and Vala are all at the extraction, representing "SG-1", but we know that Jack, Sam and Teal'c are no longer on the team. We don't have information on the others (unless the other three are wearing SG-1 patches, while Jack, Sam and Teal'c are not. I'll have to research that, unless any of you know?) At the end of the movie, Sam hopes to discuss plans for the new moon base with Jack. ETA: Jack himself is wearing an SG-1 patch in Continuum, so we have no actual knowledge that any of them are still SG-1 team members based on their shoulder patches.

ETA: SGA Season Five, Episodes 10-11: How could I forget Daniel's trip to Atlantis to annoy Rodney find Janus's secret laboratory? He arrives wearing civilian clothes, and has obviously been doing a lot of research that has led him to suspect there is a secret lab right there on Atlantis. I'm going to say he's no longer on SG-1. Because I can. So there. At the end of the ep, in the Atlantis infirmary, Daniel says Landry wants him back on Earth to recuperate from his injuries. That bothered me for a few seconds, and then I realized that the order was passed along through Landry, but came from a different general altogether. *g*

SGA Season Five, Episode 20 'Enemy at the Gate': Sam is temporarily in command of the SGC while Landry's heading up a task force in Washington, and is scheduled to take command of the new and newly-renamed Hammond. ETA: She tells Sheppard that she was off-world when she heard about Hammond's death. Maybe on the moon base?

SGU, various: Sam is in command of the Hammond, Jack remains in command of Homeworld Security at the Pentagon, and based on Episode 1-17 'Subversion', Daniel is in Washington. Daniel is able to tail someone, at Jack's request, who is already on his way out of the Pentagon building. As far as I'm concerned, Daniel has the office right next door to Jack!

In my head, I think after AoT, SGC gotta change their strategy a bit, since they're dealing with separatist groups, less Goa'uld to fight, more first contact or trade deals. Less "strong" enemy & by this time Earth is considered formidable.

I think prior to Midway, Teal'c is not SG-1 anymore, he's helping Bra'tac/Ry'ac building the Jaffa Nation or at least Chulak or maybe just live with Istha & help her or help training new SG teams

Daniel probably stays on Earth more, no able to do ascending thing anymore, Jack is scared for his life for real now.. :P, that's why he can find that Janus lab mentioned somewhere since he HAS time to read & research more & he can travel to Atlantis. I read somewhere that should SGA had season 6, they will have Daniel stay there from time to time.

I think SG-1 is just Cam & Vala ... & Hailey & Shatterfield... heh!.. Cam has the whole SGC jealous & pitied him at the same time ;-P

I was forgetting about Daniel's Season 5 trip to Atlantis! I see that he arrives wearing civilian clothes, plus he's been doing all that research on Janus. So, yeah, probably not on SG-1 any more...which totally works for my fic. :-)

Well, okay. Daniel could be down the hall or even on another floor. Since they see each other at home all the time anyway, they probably wouldn't mind not being next door to each other at work. *G*

Me too! LOL. No, I realized that what I thought was a Season Ten fic actually needed to be set later in order to accomodate a revised idea for the ending, so I had to gather all this information in order to place the story/write the ending properly, and to check for later contradictions. I think it's all going to work out for me! And for J/D, of course. ;-)

it looks like sam, daniel & mitchell are wearing sg-1 patches. teal'c is wearing a t-shirt and vest, so no patches. i can't tell what jack has, it's probably a SGC patch.

Yes, I wish we could see Jack's patch. If it's SG-1, then it's all symbolic. I shouldn't obsess over this anyway, since in The Shroud they couldn't even get Jack's stars right consistently! But I wouldn't be a geek if I didn't love obsessing over the minute details of a TV show. :-)

ETA: I found a Gateworld thread where people were arguing about whether Sam went back to SG-1 after Atlantis, and in the course of the discussion two people posted pictures of Jack's Continuum patch: it's SG-1. So it's all symbolic and doesn't prove that any of them are actually SG-1 team members at that point. Cool!

SGU is all a bad dream that Jack had one night after he and Daniel had that jalapeno pizza. It's obviously not part of their reality.

You are obviously correct! At the con last weekend something called "SGU" was mentioned several times, but I sure didn't see any "actors" from this "series" on stage!
