The perils of procrastination

So you procrastinate, thinking, knowing that there's enough time, that you're almost finished, that you'll meet the deadline...and then something happens that you never would have expected.

So, instead of working on the final two scenes of my big bang (due Thursday), I will be up all night cooking the contents of my freezer and putting all my food on the back porch to keep cold.

Farewell, refrigerator...

ETA: NEW FRIDGE ARRIVES TOMORROW!

It's safe at the moment, but I'll need to move it out of the sun pretty soon. Fortunately the temperature is going to be perfect refrigerator temperature. Today.

*checks forecast* NO, they've changed it! It's getting up to 42 degrees! ARGH!

Some local food pantry may be getting very lucky...

I've got it all in a big basket under the back porch. And I've just bought a bag of ice. My two small coolers will hold a lot of it, and I can eat some of it, lol.
