I CAN HAZ WORKING FRIDGE!

My new fridge was delivered a couple of hours ago. I've wiped it down with baking soda and water, and started loading stuff in from the back porch temporary refrigeration unit. There's just the stuff in my two small ice-filled coolers left. I'll give the fridge more time to cool to the right temperature before I move those in. They're fine where they are atm.

Now I need to get back to banging! I'll be posting late, I'm sure. *rolls eyes*

Ice cubes are cubing up in the freezer, everything else is happily chilly down below. That's all it takes to satisfy me! :-)

All I can offer atm is a Leinenkugel Snowdrift Vanilla Porter. Unless I can make a blender drink out of OJ and Triple Sec? Hmm, sounds like it should be called an Orange Januarius.

got any vanilla ice cream? you could make a mild version of a Velvet Hammer. (the hi-test one has those three ingredients plus vodka...)

the vanilla porter sounds awesome. i miss access to an extensive liquor store... *sigh* ::is in mourning for pear hard cider::

I'm lactose intolerant, so it's rare that I have ice cream on hand!

I put the vanilla porter on my next shopping list. I think it's only available through January, so I'd better stock up.

There are a couple of decent non-dairy "ice creams" out there. certainly good enough for mixed drinks. Or if you can do frozen yogurt, you might try a substitution.

otoh, there's nothing wrong with a little vodka and triple sec by themselves... ;)
