I guess my only regret is that there were a few episodes of Pushing Daisies on there, since the Chiller channel just began running them from the beginning. I AM DISRUPTED.

No, srsly, I used to be ace at that stuff, so I will probably have few problems...compared to some people. Physical and visual probs rather than COMPREHEND NOT problems.
The techie on the phone (Hazel -- although I am pretty sure Hazel is not a given name in her neck of the woods) said she would email me assistive documentation.
My email inbox promptly filled up with EVERY POSSIBLE THING I COULD EVER WANT TO KNOW, and not just about U-verse TV, but about land-line, internet, cell phone. I must have gotten a dozen emails, each with about 4 links within. *rolls eyes* (But I saved them for future reference, just in case.)
you haz uverse? I have them too right now. while they have features I like, when we move again (which happens a lot, we are military, as you may remember), I will be getting Dish again. Hopefully, Dish will have caught up with the online aspect of Uverse (which I like) and apps (which I love) because Uverse lacks one very important feature that Dish has - when I record something and it conflicts with other recordings, Dish will go back and record it later if it is on one of the cable channels that reruns the show every 3 hours to hit the other coast in Prime Time. I don't have to set it, I just need to make sure cable shows have a lower priority than network shows so that this fab thing happens. Oh, and when something starts 2 hours late due to some stupid sports thing (I'm lookin' at you, Good Wife), Dish will record it when it runs. Uverse will record it in the time it was originally listed in.
