The NC-17 Jack/Daniel cliffhanger that I started over at arboreal_gate lo these many moons ago IS COMPLETE! The other contributors to the tree are elaiel, jdjunkie, perfica, princessofgeeks, and sid_fan.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who took my fic start and ran with it! Something that would probably have been abandoned for lack of a vision, grew into 13,800 lovely words instead. \o/

Thanks, too, to the non-WIP-phobic readers who encouraged us along in the process. Now everyone can enjoy it!

AND, if you're reading along and have an inspiration...something you would do differently...a different path you would take...feel free to start a new branch at the appropriate spot on the original tree. You can find instructions in the comm sticky note. :-)

Ahh, so many lovely fic gets posted and I'm in the deepest zone of writing myself atm, so I'll have to bookmark all the gems for later... but wooohoo that you've finished this and as a joined project too! Awesome!

I left them in such a terrible state, with Daniel feverish and unconscious, and Jack wracked with guilt and worry...and now they're safe in each other's arms! I love it. :-D

Hee! Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson are from Stargate SG-1. There are some similarities to Jack/Stephen, with Jack being a colonel in the U.S. Air Force and Daniel being a Doctor of archaelogy/anthropology/linguisitics. But they don't play duets!
