Er, don't expect anything profound...

James Spader's "The Blacklist" has just received a full season pickup. I was a little bit alarmed by some of the Canadian shenanigans in Ep 2, but Spader is wonderful!

I'm watching Sarah Michelle Geller's "The Crazy Ones". Yeah, never been a Robin Williams fan, and not sure this is her niche, but I LOLed a few times in Ep 2, and..."Mad Men's" Bob Benson! :-)

Tried "Trophy Wife" and barely made it thru Ep 1. Deleted series from DVR. It just doesn't have anything for me.

Hanging in with "The Michael J. Fox Show." Nice and harmless? I definitely support MJF's return to television.

Tried "Ironside." No. And I've always adored Blair Underwood.

I proclaimed that I would not watch "MasterChef Junior." I'm watching it. Even though it's humiliating to see pre-teens cooking better than I ever will...

"Agents of SHIELD" is holding my attention and entertaining me. ♥ Coulson.

New season of "Top Chef" is just underway. Always appointment TV for me. New Orleans this season.

New Season of Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations "Parts Unknown" is 2-3 episodes in. Always educational. He's done Jerusalem and New Mexico so far, and whatever I may have forgotten...

NCIS Ep 2 was painful to watch. I imagine Tiva fans will be preserving their DVR copy for eternity... Still hanging in for Mark Harmon and Illya David McCallum. I'll be interested to see where they go sans Ziva. For me it's always been all about Harmon and McCallum, or I would have stopped watching years ago...

I deleted it from my DVR unwatched. I knew it would be painful to watch, and it's much easier to stay in denial when you don't have the visuals and dialog stuck in your head.

I'm actually looking forward to a change, and not just because I've never really been a fan of Ziva, and Tiva made it worse. I would imagine a real team like this would have had changes pretty often, especially the field personnel. The show has danced around Tony still being on the team when he should be a team leader by now, and actually was and apparently good at it when Gibbs was gone.

I don't want actors to leave, but I think they as well as some of TPTB have gotten too cozy. A little shake up, especially if they tone down the "spy" type stuff they've been relying on way too much, could be good. I've been saying for years a bit more back to basics with "dead petty officer" cases would be nice.
