Making the muse cooperate

I have discovered the secret to sparking my muse. All I have to do is plan a trip out of town, and odds are the muse will come up with simply dandy ideas while I'm packing, trying to sleep, driving, socializing, etc. And now that I'm back home and at my computer, I can't stay awake! Still, I have my perfect_duet Advent Calendar idea all set to go! :-)

It is a dilemma. I have personally found that sleep gets in the way of so many things. But an idea is good!
