And my mother was from near Buffalo, New York, so that had an influence on my speech, too. Heh, I do call it "pop" but write it on my grocery lists as "soda".

In a blind tasting, my number 1 and 2 American whiskey picks were Gentleman Jack and Jack Daniel's. I asked what the difference was, and I was told "price", lol.
