And my mother was from near Buffalo, New York, so that had an influence on my speech, too. Heh, I do call it "pop" but write it on my grocery lists as "soda".

After all these years in Indiana, it's just plain hard to remember any more! But I know that I write soda on my grocery list, but say pop. Orange pop, a quarter for the pop machine, want another pop?

But we never had anything but milk and Kool-Aid and juice growing up. :-)

You can't fool me, Anonymous. I know who you are! Did you log out and not log back in? I never log out. Even if you shut down your browser, next time you come back to LJ, it will still know who you are.

Saturday nights we had pizza and chips. And milk. No Champagne Lady or bubble machine or a-one and a-two!
