...to balance out the darkness of my last post...when I wrote George and Walter's First Kiss for sg1_five_things, I very carefully stayed away from going all goofy with my responses. So, um, msbeata requested an example of what an All Goofy response to the prompt might have been:

"Thank you, sergeant." George took the papers from Walter's hand. "You're dismissed," he added as Walter showed no signs of leaving.

"General. Sir." Walter's face was determined. "I can't let another day go by without letting you know how much you mean to me. I know you could never feel the same way..."

George spun in his chair and held out his arms invitingly. "Walter," he said happily. "I have been waiting for this moment."

Three seconds later Walter was in George's lap, and they were kissing rapturously.

The members of SG-1 exchanged nervous glances, and tiptoed out of the briefing room as fast as they could.

Yes. It's so romantic. It's like Jack and Daniel finishing each other's thoughts. Wait, Walter does that too!!!

George must have been jealous concerned about Jack and Walter too because he told Jack "I'm taking Walter" without any room for discussion.

Excellent point. Of course George also took Daniel and his old chair, so maybe he had heard some rumors and was striking back? A concerned jealous man is a dangerous man.

Good point.

Walter told George how seeing that chair everyday brought back memories of the things they had done in it and he couldn't stand the thoughts of Jack and Daniel doin' it in *their* chair.

And of course George took Daniel as payback for some of the things Jack had pulled on him over the years.
